Crashin’ with me sis in Oz – gonna share top local brands soon

G’day mates,​

Just crashin’ at me sister’s place in Brisbane for a few months – reckon it’s about time I properly explore this joint. She’s got this cute little plant shop in New Farm, so I’m muckin’ in with that, but when I get a sec, I’m out and about scoping out the good stuff us Aussies love.​

Been wanderin’ round the local Coles and Woolies, and man, there’s so much quality gear that even some of us locals sleep on. Like that Vegemite – yeah, I know, it’s a classic, but have you tried the limited edition with caramel? Bloody ripper on toast. And those Bunnings snags – not a brand, I know, but that sausage sizzle sauce? Some legend needs to bottle that stuff.​

Sis reckons I should start shoutin’ about the good local brands – the ones that don’t splash cash on big ads but make stuff that lasts. Found this little surf wax company down at Burleigh Heads last weekend – bloke makes it in his garage with all natural stuff. Stuck it on me board and caught a ripper wave the next day, so that’s a winner.​

Gonna be chattin’ about ’em proper, like we do at the pub – no fancy jargon, just what’s good, what’s not, and where to grab it. Might even drag me sister along for a few vids – she’s lived here 10 years, so she knows her onions.​
